3) What We Collect
A. Information you provide
Contact and account details; shipping/billing addresses; order and return information; messages to customer support; product reviews/UGC. Full payment card numbers are not stored by us (handled by our payment processor).
B. Information collected automatically
Device and usage data (e.g., IP address, device/browser, OS, timestamps, page views, referring URLs, interaction data). We also record consent status and opt-outs (including GPC).
C. Information from third parties
Payment/fulfillment partners (transaction confirmation, fraud checks, shipping updates); analytics/ads partners (only after consent where required); anti-abuse and security tools.
4) How We Use Information
- Provide the Services: process orders, payments, shipping, returns; account management.
- Customer care & communications: transactional emails/SMS, support responses.
- Improve & secure: analytics, debugging, fraud and abuse prevention.
- Marketing & advertising (consent where required): measure performance, cap frequency, show relevant offers.
- Legal & compliance: recordkeeping, tax/accounting, enforcing Terms, responding to lawful requests.
5) No Wiretapping / No Session Replay (CIPA-Focused)
We do not deploy “session replay,” keystroke logging, or similar technologies to record the contents of your communications for any third party. We do not intentionally intercept, acquire, or contemporaneously duplicate the content of your communications in transit. Any analytics or advertising tools we use are consent-gated (where required) and operate as our service providers/processors under written agreements.
6) Cookies, Tracking & Consent (CMP)
We use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) to:
(i) display regional banners; (ii) block non-essential trackers until consent; (iii) maintain consent records; (iv) honor GPC where required. Manage settings anytime at Cookie Preferences.
Categories
- Essential: cart/checkout, login, security, site availability.
- Analytics: site performance and diagnostics (gated by consent).
- Advertising/Measurement: frequency capping and conversion measurement (gated by consent).
Do Not Track (DNT): We do not respond to DNT signals, but we honor GPC as required by law.
7) Meta & Google (Data Minimization + Consent Gating)
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Business Tools
- Non-essential Meta tags (e.g., Pixel) activate only after consent.
- When enabled, we may send event types (e.g., PageView, AddToCart, Purchase), timestamp, page URL, and hashed identifiers (e.g., SHA-256 hashed email) for matching.
- We do not send full payment card numbers, form field contents, or chat/message contents to Meta.
- For California users, we may apply Limited Data Use (LDU) and always honor Do Not Sell/Share choices and GPC.
Google Analytics/Ads
- We implement Google Consent Mode, so analytics/ad storage is denied until consent (where required).
- Measurement and personalization are disabled by default unless you consent in the CMP.
You can withdraw or change consent anytime in Cookie Preferences.
8) Disclosure of Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose personal information to:
- Service providers/processors: payments, fraud prevention, hosting, analytics/measurement (consent-gated), shipping, customer support, email/SMS, storage—bound by contract to use data only to provide services to us.
- Advertising/measurement partners (consent where required): to measure performance and reduce fraud.
- Business transfers: merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
- Legal & safety: comply with law, enforce Terms, protect rights, safety, and property.
We maintain Data Processing Agreements and records of processing where required.
9) Targeted Advertising, “Sharing,” and “Selling”
Some US state laws (e.g., California CPRA) define certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising as “sharing” (and, in some contexts, “selling”), even if no money is exchanged.
- What may be disclosed for these purposes (when enabled and lawful): limited identifiers and event signals such as hashed email, IP address, user agent, device/advertising IDs, page or purchase events, and timestamps.
- Your choices: Opt out via Your Privacy Choices, Cookie Preferences, or by using GPC. We apply your preferences prospectively and disable existing non-essential cookies as technically feasible.
- Minors: We do not “sell” or “share” personal information of users we know are under 16.
CPRA Disclosures for the Last 12 Months
- We did not sell personal information for money.
- We may have “shared” limited identifiers and event signals with advertising/measurement partners only after consent.
- Categories shared: Identifiers; Internet/Network activity.
- Recipients: advertising/measurement service providers under our instructions.
10) Your Rights & How to Exercise Them
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access/know, correct, delete, port, opt out of targeted advertising/sale/sharing, limit use of sensitive information (if applicable), and appeal a decision.
How to submit: Use Your Privacy Choices, submit at /pages/privacy-request, or email care@moraceramics.com.
We will verify your identity (e.g., email confirmation, order details). You may authorize an agent (we may request proof). We will respond within the timeframe required by law.
Appeals (CO/CT/VA, etc.): If we deny your request, you may appeal within 30 days by emailing care@moraceramics.com with subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond within 45 days. If you disagree, you may contact your state Attorney General.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
11) Sensitive Personal Information
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics or for advertising. Sensitive data (e.g., payment card data) is handled only to process transactions by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
12) Retention
We retain each category of personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described (or as required by law), after which we delete or de-identify it using commercially reasonable measures. We periodically review retention schedules to ensure they remain no longer than reasonably necessary.
Illustrative periods:
- Orders/invoices/tax records: 7 years
- Customer support & warranty: up to 3 years after last interaction
- Marketing preferences & consent logs: 2–3 years (or as required)
- Analytics/advertising identifiers: per CMP settings or until you withdraw consent
- Account data: while active, then as needed for legal/security purposes
13) Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data (e.g., TLS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, monitoring). No system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
14) International Transfers
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we and our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs/IDTA) for cross-border transfers.
15) State-Specific Notices (US)

Financial Incentives: We do not offer financial incentives at this time. If we do in the future (e.g., a discount for email signup), we will provide a Notice of Financial Incentives describing the material terms and valuation method. Participation will be voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time.
16) Children
The Services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact care@moraceramics.com and we will promptly delete it.
