Term of Service

Last Modified: May 7th, 2026

1. Scope and Acceptance of Terms

This agreement applies to all services provided through Mora’s official website ("the Website", [moraceramics.com](http://moraceramics.com/)), including but not limited to:

  • Purchasing our products or services;
  • Registering an account;
  • Subscribing to electronic communications;
  • Participating in promotions or loyalty programs;
  • Requesting or accessing documents and reports we provide, including but not limited to safety or test reports, certificates of compliance, spec sheets, care guides, and manuals. See Section 9, Document Access and Use Terms.

By using this Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our Website or services.

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you are under 18 or otherwise lack legal capacity, you must use this Website under the supervision of a guardian or legal representative. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website in cases of unauthorized use.

Additionally, you agree to receive electronic communications related to our services, including but not limited to emails, Website announcements, and other forms of digital communication.

If you wish to opt out of marketing communications, you may do so via the "unsubscribe" link included in our emails or by contacting our customer service team. Transactional communications related to orders, customer service, document access, safety, shipping, returns, payment disputes, or account activity may still be sent where permitted by law.

We may update these Terms at any time, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically. By placing an order on the Website, you agree to these Terms, including the dispute resolution, arbitration, and class action waiver provisions in Section 14. Your continued use of our services after any changes means you accept the updated Terms unless additional notice is required by law.

2. Privacy Policy and Data Handling

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with applicable laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information.

Data Collection

We may collect the following types of personal information:

  • Identity Information: such as your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number;
  • Payment Information: such as credit card numbers, processed securely by third-party providers;
  • Usage Data: such as browsing history and purchase behavior;
  • Technical Data: such as IP addresses, cookies, device information, and access logs.

Data Use

Your data may be used for:

  • Processing and delivering orders;
  • Improving our products and services;
  • Sending promotional or marketing information, with opt-out options;
  • Providing customer service and technical support;
  • Complying with legal requirements;
  • Preventing fraud, misuse, unauthorized transactions, and delivery or payment disputes;
  • Protecting our Website, customers, business, documents, intellectual property, and legal rights.

Data Sharing

We may share your data under the following circumstances:

  • With service providers, including shipping companies, fulfillment providers, payment processors, fraud prevention providers, customer support tools, analytics providers, and other vendors that help us operate the Website or provide services;
  • When required by law, legal proceedings, payment network rules, dispute resolution processes, or regulatory requirements;
  • When reasonably necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, enforce these Terms, or respond to claims or disputes;
  • During business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, transfers of assets, financing, restructuring, or similar business events.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your user experience, support Website functionality, understand usage, and assist with security and fraud prevention. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the Website.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws, you may have rights such as accessing your personal data, requesting corrections, requesting deletion under certain conditions, objecting to processing, or transferring your data to another provider. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions, identity verification, fraud prevention, recordkeeping obligations, and other lawful limitations.

Document Delivery and Audit Logs

To deliver watermarked or access-controlled documents and to prevent misuse, we may process the minimum necessary information, such as name, email, timestamps, IP or device information, consent records, and access logs, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Related messages are transactional and not marketing. Logs are retained only for verification, audit, risk control, rights protection, and dispute handling for a limited period.

For any questions or concerns, please contact us at [care@moraceramics.com](mailto:care@moraceramics.com).

3. User Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate and complete information to use this Website. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to provide false, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or unauthorized information.

Account Registration

When registering an account, you must provide a valid email address and other necessary information, set a secure password, and keep your account information updated.

Account Responsibilities

You are fully responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, all actions conducted under your account, and promptly reporting unauthorized account use or security breaches.

We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account use unless directly caused by our negligence or where otherwise required by law.

Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities, interfering with the Website’s operation or security, attempting unauthorized access to our systems, misusing customer service or refund processes, or using an account in a way that violates these Terms.

4. Product Information and Order Terms

Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate and complete product information. However, we do not guarantee that colors, materials, finishes, patterns, dimensions, weights, packaging, or other product details will perfectly match product descriptions, images, or your display settings, or that all product information, including pricing and availability, will be error-free.

Because ceramic products may involve natural variation, handcrafted effects, glaze variation, kiln effects, or production differences, minor variations in color, shape, finish, size, or appearance may occur and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

We reserve the right to correct or update any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

Order Acceptance and Rejection

Submitting an order indicates your intent to purchase our products, but we reserve the right to accept, refuse, hold, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, subject to applicable law.

Possible reasons for order cancellation, hold, refusal, or limitation include insufficient stock, errors in pricing or product details, payment issues, suspected fraud, delivery risk, incomplete information, unusual order activity, suspected resale or policy misuse, system errors, or other operational concerns.

If your order is canceled by us, you will receive a refund via your original payment method for the canceled portion of the order. While we may cancel orders at our discretion, customers do not have a guaranteed right to cancel orders.

Order Processing and Modification

  • Order Confirmation: After you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. Your order is considered placed upon successful payment. However, we reserve the right to accept, refuse, hold, or cancel any order at our discretion.
  • Order Changes, Modifications Only, No Cancellation Right: As a convenience, we may allow modifications only within 60 minutes of order placement, such as adjusting quantities, adding or removing items, or updating shipping details. A modification link may be provided in the order confirmation email.

For the avoidance of doubt, “modifications” do not include order cancellation, order termination, or converting an order to a zero-item or zero-quantity order. We do not provide a guaranteed right to cancel orders. Any request to cancel is handled solely at our discretion and may be impossible once an order enters fulfillment or shipment.

All modification requests are subject to fulfillment status and our ability to implement them before the order enters fulfillment or shipment. After the 60-minute modification window, orders are considered final and can no longer be modified, and standard return policies apply upon delivery.

Special Orders

For personalized, customized, made-to-order, limited-release, final-sale, or special-request products, orders cannot be canceled or returned once confirmed unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect customization details, shipping information, or instructions provided by you.

Purchase Limits

We reserve the right to limit the quantity of products per order, per customer, per household, per shipping address, or per account, particularly during promotions, limited releases, suspected resale activity, suspected fraud, or when inventory is limited.

5. Pricing, Payment, and Taxes

Pricing

All prices are displayed in USD and do not include applicable taxes or shipping fees unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change due to market conditions, promotional adjustments, technical errors, typographical errors, product updates, or operational needs.

Prices at the time of purchase will generally be honored. If an error is discovered during processing, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund for the affected order or item.

Payment Methods

We accept major credit and debit cards, digital payment services, and other payment options as listed on the Website. Payments must be successfully processed to confirm an order. Availability of payment methods may vary and may be changed at any time.

Taxes

  • Sales taxes or other applicable taxes are not included in the listed price and will be calculated during checkout where applicable.
  • For any permitted shipments involving forwarding or third-party logistics after delivery to a U.S. address, any import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, storage fees, penalties, or other fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your payment method has been used without authorization, contact us immediately. While we will assist in investigating the issue, resolution may depend on your payment provider, financial institution, payment network, or applicable dispute process.

Discounts and Coupons

All discounts, coupons, store credits, promotional codes, loyalty rewards, or special offers are subject to the specific terms outlined during promotions. Unless expressly stated otherwise, they may not be combined, transferred, redeemed for cash, applied retroactively, or used in a manner inconsistent with the promotion. Misuse of discounts or coupons may result in order cancellation, account restriction, refusal of future service, or other remedies available to Mora.

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you experience an issue with your order, you agree to contact Mora first so we can review and assist. You remain responsible for providing accurate and complete information in any payment dispute, bank claim, or chargeback process.

False, duplicate, abusive, or bad-faith payment disputes, including disputes filed after receiving the product, a refund, replacement, store credit, discount, or other resolution, may result in account restriction, order cancellation, refusal of future service, and any remedies available to Mora under these Terms or applicable law.

If a payment dispute or chargeback is filed for an order, any open refund, replacement, return, exchange, store credit, or service request for the same order may be paused while the dispute is pending. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws or card network rules.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping Methods and Fees

We offer standard shipping services only unless otherwise stated during checkout or a specific promotion. Shipping costs will be displayed during checkout for your review before purchase.

  • Free standard shipping is available on orders of $150 or more, unless otherwise stated during checkout or a specific promotion.
  • Orders under $150 are charged a flat $5 shipping and handling fee.
  • Free shipping eligibility is generally based on the merchandise subtotal after discounts and before taxes, shipping fees, gift cards, store credits, or other non-product charges, unless otherwise stated during checkout.
  • Shipping and handling fees help cover order processing, protective packaging, tracking, carrier service, fulfillment-related costs, and related handling expenses.

Shipping Areas

We currently ship within the United States. Availability may vary for certain destinations, including Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, remote areas, restricted locations, or carrier-limited areas. We do not offer international shipping.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. During peak periods, such as holidays, promotions, product launches, weather events, carrier disruptions, or unusual order volumes, processing times may be extended.

Delivery Time

Standard shipping usually requires 5-7 business days for delivery after shipment, depending on your location, especially Hawaii, Alaska, APO addresses, remote areas, and carrier-limited locations. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.

Customer Responsibility for Shipping Information

You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, secure, and deliverable shipping address, including any apartment, unit, suite, floor, building, gate code, phone number, or delivery instruction needed for delivery.

We are not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, returned shipments, losses, theft, damage, or misplacement caused by incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, inaccessible, or carrier-restricted delivery information provided at checkout.

Multi-Unit Addresses and Designated Delivery Areas

For apartments, condos, dorms, office buildings, and other multi-unit addresses, carriers may deliver packages to the building’s mailroom, package room, lobby, front desk, parcel locker, reception area, loading area, management office, or another designated delivery area for that address. Delivery directly to an individual unit door is not guaranteed.

Once tracking confirms delivery to the shipping address or to the building’s designated delivery area, the order is considered delivered.

Risk of Loss After Delivery

Once tracking confirms delivery to the shipping address you provided, or to a mailroom, package room, lobby, front desk, parcel locker, reception area, loading area, management office, or other designated delivery area for that address, all risk of loss, theft, damage, or misplacement transfers to you, except where prohibited by law.

For damaged or incorrect items, please contact us within 5 days of receipt for assistance.

Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check your mailbox, mailroom, package room, lobby, front desk, parcel locker, building management, nearby entrances, loading area, reception area, household members, and neighbors where applicable.

We may ask for additional information, such as a carrier case number, building management statement, package room record, parcel locker record, police report, missing package report, photos of the delivery area, or other information reasonably needed before determining whether further assistance is available.

Once tracking confirms delivery to the shipping address or to the building’s designated delivery area, Mora is not responsible for loss, theft, or misplacement after delivery, except where required by law.

Address Verification and Delivery Safeguards

For certain orders, including higher-value orders, multi-unit addresses, orders flagged for delivery risk, orders flagged for payment risk, or orders requiring additional verification, we may request address, payment, order, carrier, or delivery-related information before shipment. We may delay, hold, limit, or cancel an order if we cannot verify the shipping information or if the order presents elevated delivery, payment, fraud, or operational risk.

P.O. Boxes and Restricted Delivery Locations

We do NOT recommend using P.O. Boxes as shipping addresses. If used, delivery will be handled at the carrier’s discretion. Once tracking confirms delivery to the address or carrier-designated location, the order is considered delivered. Returned shipments will be refunded minus a 15% restocking fee, unless prohibited by law.

We may refuse, hold, or cancel orders addressed to locations that carriers cannot safely or reliably deliver to, including restricted facilities, inaccessible addresses, incomplete addresses, freight forwarding locations, or other locations that present delivery, fraud, or operational concerns.

Special Instructions for International Buyers

We do not handle international shipping. However, international buyers may ship orders to a U.S. address of their choice, such as a third-party logistics provider, freight forwarder, friend, family member, or other receiving address, and take full responsibility for transporting the products to international destinations.

Important: Once the product is delivered to the U.S. address or carrier-designated delivery location, we are no longer responsible for any issues during domestic handling after delivery or international transit, including damage, loss, theft, delays, customs duties, import restrictions, storage fees, brokerage fees, seizure, return, or disposal. These services may only be used by end-user customers, as we do not authorize our products to be sold in other countries.

No-Signature Deliveries

Most standard shipments may be delivered without a signature, depending on the carrier, destination, and delivery conditions. If no one is available to receive the shipment, the carrier may leave the package in a location it determines to be appropriate, attempt redelivery, hold the package, or return the package. Additional shipping fees for re-delivery, returned shipments, address corrections, or carrier handling may be the buyer’s responsibility.

7. Returns and Refunds Policy

Eligibility for Returns

We hope you are satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to return a product, please ensure the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is submitted within 30 days of receiving the product;
  • The product is unused, undamaged, clean, and in its original packaging, including all accessories, inserts, tags, manuals, and protective materials where applicable;
  • The return is authorized by Mora before the item is shipped back.

Exceptions

  • Customized, personalized, clearance, final-sale, gift card, or special-order items are non-returnable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise;
  • Products damaged due to improper use, mishandling, alteration, improper care, improper cleaning, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow care instructions are not eligible for returns;
  • Unauthorized returns, incomplete returns, or returns sent to the wrong address may be delayed, refused, returned to sender, or ineligible for refund.

Return Process

To initiate a return, contact our customer service team at [care@moraceramics.com](mailto:care@moraceramics.com), or use the Mora Care Hub available on our Website. Provide your order number and reason for the return.

Our team will review your request and provide the return address along with detailed instructions for completing the return if the return is approved.

Note: Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our verified error, such as an incorrect or damaged item.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed after we receive and inspect the returned product, typically within:

  • 5-7 business days for inspection and processing;
  • 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your original payment method, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Refunds will exclude original shipping and handling fees unless the return is due to our verified error or where otherwise required by law. Refunds may be reduced for missing items, damage, use, incomplete packaging, unauthorized returns, or other issues affecting return eligibility.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please notify us within 5 days of receipt. Include photos of the damaged or incorrect item, photos of the packaging, your order number, and a detailed description of the issue.

After verification, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, store credit, partial refund, or other remedy depending on the situation and applicable law.

Return Address

The specific return address will be provided upon confirmation of your return request. Do not return items without proper authorization or instructions, as this may result in delays, refusal of delivery, return to sender, or inability to process your refund.

Final Review

We reserve the right to review return and refund eligibility in good faith and in accordance with this Policy, these Terms, and applicable law.

9. Document Access and Use Terms

Definitions and Scope

“Documents” include any materials we provide to you, such as safety or test reports, certificates of compliance, specification sheets, care or usage guides, manuals, statements, images or compilations, summaries, appendices, product information, compliance materials, and related files. These terms apply regardless of delivery method, including email attachment, download link, online viewer, customer service message, file transfer, access-controlled portal, or otherwise.

You are responsible for safeguarding your inbox, devices, accounts, links, passwords, and access credentials and must not forward, share, publish, or otherwise provide third parties with access.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not post, forward, upload, share, distribute, sell, rent, adapt, excerpt, reproduce, publish, display, transmit, mirror, or make Documents available to others in any form. You may not remove, obscure, modify, alter, degrade, or bypass any watermark, notice, filename, rights-management feature, digital identifier, access control, traceability marker, or other protection associated with any Document. You may not screen capture, record, scrape, mirror, bulk download, copy, extract, reconstruct, summarize for publication, or otherwise reproduce Documents through automated or manual means.

You may not use Documents or their contents for text mining, data mining, scraping, dataset creation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, model training, fine-tuning, inference, evaluation, benchmarking, automated analysis, or similar purposes. You may not externally cite, quote, screenshot, extract data from, publish, upload, submit, or otherwise disclose any Document content without Mora’s prior written permission. You may not circumvent any technical protections, including expiry, passwords, view-only restrictions, print restrictions, download restrictions, copy restrictions, access limits, or other security controls.

Nature of Documents and Citation

Documents reflect the tested samples, available information, standards, assumptions, and conditions at the time of issuance and do not constitute guarantees for other batches, products, conditions, locations, uses, legal requirements, or future dates. Documents may be updated, replaced, withdrawn, corrected, or superseded at any time.

Where permission to cite is granted, you must follow our instructions and include accurate document name, date, version, source, page references, and context. You must not misquote, selectively quote, alter meaning, omit relevant limitations, or present Documents in a misleading way.

Technical Protections

We may embed personalized watermarks, visible or invisible identifiers, digital traceability markers, expiry settings, access controls, password protections, logging tools, and other technical protections. You agree not to interfere with, remove, degrade, bypass, or attempt to disable these protections. We may update, replace, suspend, revoke, or disable Documents and links as needed.

Logs, Personal Data, and Transactional Emails

To deliver Documents and apply protections, we may process the minimum necessary data, such as name, email, timestamps, IP or device details, consent records, access logs, download attempts, and related interaction records, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may send related transactional emails. Logs are retained for verification, audit, risk control, rights protection, and dispute handling for a limited period.

Incident Notice

If you become aware of or suspect unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, sharing, publication, misuse, or copying of any Document, you must notify us within 24 hours, stop using the Document, delete all unauthorized copies, preserve relevant evidence, and cooperate with takedown, investigation, and remediation.

Remedies

If you breach these terms, we may revoke or restrict your access, disable links, refuse future document access, restrict your account, refuse future service, and seek injunctive relief, damages, reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, and other remedies available under these Terms or applicable law. Upon request, you must promptly delete all copies and backups and certify deletion if requested. We may also submit takedown requests, infringement notices, or other reports to third-party platforms, service providers, search engines, marketplaces, or authorities.

Third-Party Rights

Some Documents may involve third-party rights, restrictions, marks, standards, reports, certifications, or materials, including labs, certification bodies, testing providers, licensors, or other third parties. You must comply with their restrictions as well.

No Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, sublicense, or delegate any rights or obligations under this section.

Changes

We may amend this section and post updates in the Terms. Your continued requesting, receiving, accessing, storing, or use of Documents constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Disputes and Survival

Disputes under this section are governed by Section 14, Dispute Resolution and Governing Law. Obligations related to confidentiality, access restrictions, document use, protection of rights, remedies, deletion, cooperation, and audit records survive termination, delivery, expiration, revocation, or cessation of access.

Arbitration Details

  • Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, or AAA.
  • The arbitration will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, unless both parties agree to a different location.
